Discover the mental health benefits

Immersive experience in deep Australia’s aroma

landscape, edible plants, wildlife and indigenous culture.

Katu Katu Inc is a mental health charity organization run by volunteers, a not-for-profit founded on the spirit of Australia’s indigenous heritage. It provides a positive and joyful, interactive experience where visitors come away feeling relaxed, nourished, and more connected to our country and the land we call home.

The word Katu Katu means to rise and higher ground in the western desert Aboriginal dialect, Warlpiri language. It is a positive word that is comparative to ‘glass half full’ in English.

The home of Katu Katu Inc is located in the heartland of the famous Yarra Ranges, Victoria, where we take advantage of the safe and nourishing bushland to organize our workshops. Our programs draw knowledge from the rich and various historic Indigenous cultures from around Australia. Native foods, contemporary art, ancient and modern farming practices are all part of the learning and healing process incorporated into our program.
